Funny Face was arrested late last year after he was heartbroken and went through a bipolar episode that saw him threaten to kill his baby mama. Funny Face also fired warning shots after a confrontation with a bartender in Kasoa.
Circumstances led to his arrest, after which an Accra Circuit Court committed him to a psychiatric hospital following medical reports confirming he was suffering from a nervous breakdown. Funny Face was released a few months ago and is now in very good health.
The Ghanaian comedian returned to the stand-up scene a few weeks ago after performing on Lekzy DeComic’s ‘Too Cute to Be Mute 2’ special.
After a successful show which saw him receive plaudits, Funny Face announced his own show.

Funny Face’s most memorable stand-up comedy was his performance at Night of 1010 Laughs in 2010.
